Are you ready for the summer? The Nuveen Theatre Workshop, a program of the Arts Council of White Lake - Nuveen Center, invites you to their first summer event, the White Lake Community Variety Show. Community members third grade through senior citizen will whisk you off to “Camp Wannabee” for a multi-generational blending of talent and story.
Who will you see on stage? Will it be your neighbor, your friends, a family member or your grandchild? The only way to find out is to attend and be surprised!
The performance, originally scheduled for The Playhouse at White Lake (former Howmet Playhouse) will now be presented at the Montague High School Center for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, June 14th and 15th.
This event is made possible by a grant from the R. Covell Radcliffe Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, the White Lake Lothmann Family Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, Carmichael Heating and Air-Conditioning, an anonymous donor, local businesses and generous ACWL-NUVEEN members. All ticket sales will help support ACWL-Nuveen arts programming for the remainder of the year. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students/children and can be purchased at the ACWL-Nuveen Center at 106 E. Colby Street in Whitehall or at the door the nights of performance.
