Say Hello

This month, we welcomed a new team member to the Arts Council of White Lake – Nuveen Center. Erin Peyer is a Wisconsin native who moved to Muskegon in July of 2018. She made the trek to the our side of the lake to start a new career and to be with her fiancée, RJ Nordlund, who is opening North Grove Brewers in Montague.

Erin has been involved in the arts all of her life as a pianist and piano teacher. She graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Arts in piano and Butler University with a Masters in Piano Pedagogy. Erin ran a private piano studio in Oshkosh, Wisconsin for four years before deciding she wanted to try something new. She set her sights on working for a non-profit that had a positive impact on its community. Luckily, the Arts Council of White Lake fit that bill!

So far at ACWL, Erin has taken on responsibilities such as class postings, running our social media, and editing the website. She is really enjoying being surrounded by art and hopes to try out a few of the classes the Nuveen Center offers. She’s also met many new people - but would love to meet more - so stop by and say hello!
