Endowment Fund Update

We are delighted to tell you that since the Arts Council of White Lake – Nuveen Center's $500,000 Love the Arts Forever endowment fund campaign began a year ago, nearly $300,000 in gifts and pledges have been received from all over the country. We’re three-fifths of the way to our goal!

And as you know, every dollar you give – up to $500,000 -- is being matched by the George and Betty Hilt Advised Fund.

Each year, approximately four percent of the endowment fund comes back to the ACWL-Nuveen and provides a stable source of revenue for expenses such as utilities and salaries. The balance of the fund remains invested and grows.

This amazing organization, founded by a small group of volunteers, has grown into a thriving

main-street business that offers hundreds of classes and includes a gallery with the works of dozens of West Michigan artists. The summer concert series that was started 35 years ago continues to draw residents and visitors each week during June, July and August. And we’re especially excited about sponsoring the annual eight-day Third Coast Trombone Retreat that attracts trombonists from several states!

This endowment fund will help assure the Arts Council can continue to make the arts accessible, inspiring, and fun for adults and children of all ages and all abilities. If you haven’t yet contributed, please join us in this exciting endeavor. Make a tax deductible contribution now or, if you prefer, space your gift over three years!

Love the Arts…Forever! Thank you!
