On Saturday, March 15 over 100 people came to our public reception at the ACWL-Nuveen to cheer on the exhibiting artists in both the Adult and Youth divisions and celebrate the power of creativity.
The juror for our show this year, Grand Rapids based artist/educator Christopher Shields, had the difficult task of reviewing all of the artwork in person to determine who would receive awards. For the jurors of this annual exhibit this is never an easy task when there is so much deserving talent. Mr. Shields approached the task with great care and consideration and came up with the results listed below. Awards were also given out in the Adult and Youth division by staff from the ACWL-Nuveen and a Founders Award by members of the ACWL-Nuveen Gallery Committee.
Congratulations to ALL participants and award winners - thanks for being a part of the exhibit! The Adult & Youth show will be on display until April 19 - please stop by Tuesday - Friday 11:00am - 5:30pm and Saturday 11:00am - 3:00pm - You won't want to miss this amazing exhibit!
