About the event
Using acrylic paint, students will learn how to capture one of White Lake’s iconic landmarks on canvas. Will it be the White River bridge? The world's largest weathervane? Or the historic White River Light Station? Instructor Lori Coleman will have photos of these sites that students will paint from. In class she
will teach proper acrylic painting techniques including, blending, color theory, and tips for creating a pleasing composition.

About the Instructor:
Lori Coleman is a Montague resident, an artist and advocate for a healthy and sustainable planet. Creating art inspired by nature helps her express her deep love and appreciation of the natural surroundings. She has been drawing and painting since childhood. She creates work in acrylics and watercolor, shifting between abstract and realism.
