About the event
Students will learn armature-building processes as part of sculpting a unique animal sculpture out of polymer clay in the first session. In the second session, students will paint their creations to really bring them to life!
Class minimum: 4
Class maximum: 10
About the Instructor:
Casey Bemis has lived in the Whitehall area for over 10 years, working in her studio in the quiet woods just a few miles from Lake Michigan. Much of the work is inspired by nature, geometry and science. Utilizing her undergraduate degree in painting, she draws directly on sheets of metal to be etched and then made into unique jewelry. She also paints and finds some time to work on several novels.
ACWL-Nuveen Spring Break Art Classes are sponsored by Seaver's Lawn Service.
