About the event

Macrame is a versatile craft, suitable for large or small projects; hangings, curtains, plant holders and more. Learn the basic knots and creative ways to combine them. Discover how to use color or include decorative objects. Students will leave with a project in hand and plenty of ideas to keep working on their own

About the Instructor:

Laurel Geis has lived in the White Lake area for 28 years. She taught Art in public schools for 30 years before retiring. She is an active artist, working primarily in painting and drawing, and her work has been widely exhibited in sites like the Muskegon Museum of Art and the White River Gallery. Her work frequently includes landscape or environmental themes.
