About the event

If you are one of the many who are curious about Gouache, this class is for you! Led by Laurel Geis, students will learn about Gouache, explore the similarities and differences with watercolor, understand the supplies needed for each, and do a practice painting.

This class is appropriate for those with or without experience in watercolor and/or gouache.


Class minimum: 4

Class maximum: 8


About the Instructor:

Laurel Geis has lived in the White Lake area for 29 years. She taught Art in public schools for 30 years before retiring. She is an active artist, working primarily in painting and drawing, and her work has been widely exhibited in sites like the Muskegon Museum of Art and the White River Gallery. Her work frequently includes landscape or environmental themes.
