About the event
Students will create their own cotton bandana-sized scarf using the technique of pounding with fresh flowers. Students will use colors, flower shapes, and examples to inspire their work. Scarves will be embellished with watercolor colored pencils and embroidery after pounding and heat treatment.

About the Instructor:
Raelynn Jewison was born and raised in Williamston, Michigan where she discovered her love for art. She attended Central Michigan University graduating with a bachelors in Visual Arts Education. She graduated in 2019 and went on to teach at Olathe East High School for three years in Olathe, Kansas. Currently, she lives in Muskegon and teaches at Muskegon High School. Raelynn has taught photography, digital art, drawing, painting, and ceramics. Personally she experiments with all mediums of art, many times creating multi-media pieces. She has a wide range of experience vending her art as well as being a live artist for music events.
