Arts Council of White Lake-Nuveen Center, 106 E Colby St, Whitehall, MI 49461, USA

About the event

This workshop introduces the layering and transparency of colors as the matrix is reduced with each color.  Also, the use of multiple plates, stencils and chine collé expands the world of possibilities.

Participants are invited to come with an image, curiosity and a wish to learn color reduction printmaking.

Printmaking experience is helpful but not necessary.

Students are encouraged to bring a black and white print-out of an image they would like to recreate or to email that image to nuveen@artswhitelake.org ahead of class.

There will be a break for lunch! You are welcome to bring a sack lunch or run across the street to Subway.
