Arts Council of White Lake Presents Garrett Potter

The Arts Council of White Lake’s Music Presents Series for 2017 will feature three wonderful and engaging presenters! The last Tuesday of the month from January through March will showcase a wide variety of expertise and talent. March 28 will feature poet Garrett Potter.

Garret Potter is the two time Ann Arbor Poetry Slam Champion, representing Michigan twice at the National Poetry Slam. He is a four time winner of the Portland Poetry Slam, a competitor in the 2012 and 2013 individual World Poetry Slams, and one of ten poets (the only US poet) selected for the 2014 Victoria Spoken Word Festival. With over 500 performances in over 190 venues across the United States, he has toured solo and alongside talk-music artists Listener and Spoken Nerd, folk artists Seth Martin and the Menders, and the folk-punk duo Destroy Nate Allen. He is the author of Without Reservation, New Book, and HIDE AND SEEK: A Poet's Memoir, as well as the audio poetry album "Context." An online experience of his work lives at www.garretpotter.com and http://garretpotter.bandcamp.com .

Each 7 pm presentation will take place at Arts Council of White Lake at the Nuveen, 106 E. Colby St. in Whitehall. Admission is $5 at the door.
