General Information for Students
Registration for classes is required, unless otherwise noted. You may register online at artswhitelake.org or by calling (231) 893-2524 or visiting the Nuveen Center. All enrollment and fees should made prior to a week before the class, in order to adequately prepare materials. Exceptions may be made. Please call (231) 893-2524 to inquire about late enrollment.
No classroom spots are reserved without full payment or scholarship. For the safety of children, they must be dropped off directly to their teacher in the classroom and remain with the teacher until picked up by parent or authorized adult. If a child is allowed to leave after class on their own, a note from the parent or guardian stating so is required before the first class. Programs offered are not licensed by the Department of Education or any state agency.
Cancellation & Withdrawal
Courses cancelled due to insufficient enrollment will be 100% refunded. To receive a check refund, you must withdraw at least 14 business days prior to the first class session. The ACWL will retain a 10% processing fee. Instead of a monetary refund, you can opt to receive credit for a future class. If withdrawing the day classes begin, no refund is available.
If a class session is cancelled, a make-up class will be scheduled. Generally, make-up classes are held the week following the last scheduled class.
By registering for a class, you agree to allow us to photography you or your child for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please contact our Director's Assistant, Kambria Hogg, at email@example.com to opt out.
